Dating a filipina
Now I’d like to share with you a very common conversation I have. It is safe to say that I have interacted with a lot of everyday Filipinos and Filipinas. While looking at the vegetables a few of the vendors said in Bisaya… Again I have nothing wrong with why individuals think that way, because again, yes lots of foreigners who are here do have girlfriends, or wives. Here is a very common first interaction (which I would have in either Bisaya or Tagalog): Why? We all know that a lot of foreigners come to the Philippines because they have met a Filipina, have a Filipina Girlfriend, or have a Filipina Wife. But it occurs EVERY time I am hanging out with a girl who is simply just a friend of mine, and usually in a very open and vocal way; the girls will be stereotyped as being attached to me.While I dined on my meal and decided which waitress I liked best, an older gentleman sat down beside me. I found his story intriguing, especially since it was my first solo gallivanting voyage.During our chat, he told me to never take a Pinay back to The States. The amazing Filipinos I have met and had experiences with. It may sound strange, but that mindset “expecting I must have a girlfriend or must be here because of girls”, and the large amount of Filipinos who constantly share it with me… I have met so many talented, caring, friendly, smart, beautiful, amazing Filipinas over the course of my time in the Philippines. of course I have been beyond interested in wanting to get to know some girls better, to get closer to a girl here, and to have a girlfriend. It gives me an opportunity to share and inspire pride in them. It definitely isn’t because I don’t find Filipina’s attractive… Maybe it will empower some Filipina women to not put themselves or foreigners into relationships that may not be positive to be in. I have met so many foreigners who within minutes start asking me about girls.I bumped into a guy in his 50s from Texas on my way down to the gym in my building.
Here’s a success story I came across while living in Makati last year.He married a Filipina and was as happy as a pig in you know what. He had married a Pinay in Makati and was already going through a complicated divorce.
